PI Color Groups
This is a guide to the official colors of PI. Some of these colors are more recognized than others, but they have roots in PI through clubs, associations, and roleplay. If you find information or links that need updating plese feel free to contact me!

Quote from the PI Bullitain Board on the definirion of 'pure'
"The entire site uses and recognizes these 8 main colors. No other colors have single 'pure' codes because there is too much variety and disagreement between users on which exact codes to use, therefore it was decided by the community not to use the term 'pure' for any colors except these eight. The only current exception is 'Pure Grey' which is any code that forms an identical triplet, such as #D1D1D1 or |182|182|182|."
Pure greys are classified as any color with repeating triplets. These are the 14 categories that all greys fall within from light to dark. This is not all of the pure greys, but these are the main categories that people consider as grey (any lighter and it's white, and any darker and it's black).

These colors are given to ponies with an Alligence to Korr, but your pony does not need to be dedicated to Korr to have one of these colors. One could just say Ruby, rather than Korr's Rubies.
Quote from the Azuyan Color Charts Thread
"Gap Colors values are between values of pure colors on the scale (filling the gap).
Hexes with 99 values (or DEC values with 153) are considered the middle of the scale.
Gap colors are also known as legion colors due to the elemental legion color challenge."

Space Colors
These colors were originally created in the club PI Jewels. The club was created by Wystearya, but later taken over by Matchmaker. PI Jewels is now a part of the Mosaic Colour Cooperative. Click the image to enlarge.

Azuyan Club Colors
PI Jewles
These colors come from the Banana Isles and were originally created by Matchmaker with the help of others in late 2008. The Banana Club has become a part of the Mosaic Colour Cooperative (1, 2, 3). Click the image to enlarge.
Banana Colors
This color group was created by LNS along with the association Sweet as Can Be. Ponies with these colors come from the Sugar Isles. Click the image to enlarge.
Initially created by Manywaters, these colors are the official WPAG (Water Pony Appreciation Guide) Lagoon colors. There is currently a hex challenge running with a very high reward, but you must be a member to participate. Click the image to enlarge.
